Go up the lovely, shady, recently repaved Old Putnam and South County Trailways to Tarrytown. Then cross the Mario Cuomo Bridge (NOT shady!) to Nyack where you'll have a picnic lunch at the river's edge. The return goes back to Piermont on River Rd, which is in very bad shape as of spring 2022. Use caution until it's repaved. Then take side roads to climb Walnut back to the bridge and down to Dinosaur Playground.
