Take a different route up to the Bronx over the Henry Hudson Bridge; then head up the Trailways to Tarrytown and down to the Mario Cuomo Bridge. Cross the bridge on the multi-use path with scenic overlooks to Nyack, where you'll pick up lunch at a deli and head down to the river for a picnic. The park has picnic tables and good bathroom facilities. Return on River Rd thru Piermont, with a leg out to the pier for a photo op. Come up scenic Rockleigh Rd to 9W and back to the GW Bridge. (This route would have been the graduation ride for Group 4, but was ultimately not done because of high heat.)
