Another bridge to bridge route going up the west side of the Hudson, thru Closter, Old Tappan, Blauvelt to Nyack via Bradley Hill Rd. Picnic in a lovely park by the river then cross the Cuomo Bridge to Tarrytown, where you'll have a steep climb to get up to the North County Trailway. Then it's mostly a gentle descent back to Van Cortlandt Park. Pick up desert at Lloyd's Carrot Cake and watch the cricket match while you enjoy your cake. Take the #1 right there or go farther south on Broadway to the A train.
Because of high heat, this shorter route was done by both Groups 3 & 4 as the Graduation Ride.
