Giving bicycle thanks . . . .

It’s that time of year – when we reflect upon our bounty – and give thanks for our riches.  I have lots of good fortune in my life, I have been blessed.  In this venue, my thoughts of thanks are about the New York Cycle Club.

I am so thankful for 9W, for The Market, for the Runcible Spoon.  I am so thankful for the adventures I have enjoyed – Sa Calobra in Mallorca, the Berkshires in Massachusetts, Nyack in New York.

I am so thankful for the cool bike I ride – both of them – all of them.  I am ever so thankful for the great rides my wife – Jody – and I go on together.  I am so thankful for Central Park, for laps, for the Morning Cult riders. 

I am so thankful for the SIG – like so many others in the Club, it changed my life.  For ENY – the goodness we bring our city. 

I am thankful for the New York Cycle Club most of all.  The Club brought me all this – and more.  So many wonderful friends, so many wonderful experiences, introduced me to my wife.

I am thankful for my bicycle life and the New York Cycle Club for making that bicycling life – making my life -  so rich and colorful and exciting.
