Reyna Franco, MS, MBA, RDN, CSSD, CLT, FAND, CPT, DipACLM
Reyna Franco is a New York City based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a MS in nutrition and exercise physiology from Columbia University. She is a certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD), a certified personal trainer (CPT) and a Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (DipACLM). She taught sports nutrition to medical students at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and precepts nutrition students and interns. She created the Sports Nutrition rotation for the NY Distance Dietetic Internship program.
Reyna has been working in private practice for over 20 years. She has an expertise in sport nutrition and helps athletes fuel properly to perform at their greatest potential. Her athletes meet and exceed their performance and recovery goals. In addition, she provides medical nutrition therapy for weight management, diabetes, cardiac disease, renal disease, gastrointestinal disorders, cancer, food allergies, eating disorders and child nutrition.
Reyna is a long time member of the NYCC. She is a D-SIG and A-Classic SIG graduate, and led the A-Classic SIG. She has participated in biking, running, swimming and triathlon races. When Reyna is not coaching clients or developing workshops, you may find her road biking, gravel cycling, trail running, skiing, rock–climbing, or hiking.
