We start at Clason Point in Soundview after disembarking from the NYC Soundview Ferry (check NYC Ferry schedule at www.ferrynyc).  We ride through Soundview Park and take a little detour through Soundview to view the NYCHA house where Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor grew up - Sonya Sotomayor Houses, at 1090 Rosedale Ave.   There is optional loop through the SUNY Maritime College, with spectacular waterfront views. Depending on the time of year, you may see the docked Empire VI training ship which is taken to sea every summer with mariner students-in-training.  There is a pit stop in Pelham Bay Park, and a swing through Pelham Manor before arriving in Baychester.  Lunch at Country Thyme, a low-key Jamaican restaurant frequented by locals and a well kept secret.  Return to Manhattan over the High Bridge.
